Sixth Form Volunteers
Withington Girls’ School is at the heart of the local community and the involvement of our Sixth Form pupils in assisting local nurseries, primary schools, homes for the elderly, a school for severely disabled children, local hospitals and hospices was accredited by the Millennium Volunteers Scheme in 2007. The Scheme has now been re-branded and their website: www.vinspired.com encourages all 16 to 25 year olds to participate in volunteering.
