All menus are rotated on a three-week cycle and will be refreshed each term.All menus will be made available to girls and parents at the start of term but below are some sample menus to give a taste of what is to come. Breakfast and break provision is paid for on an ad-hoc basis via Parent Pay. Lunches for every girl are included with the school fee bill.
Breakfast and Break
Girls can arrive from 8am and be sure that a vast choice of breakfast options will be on offer. A range of healthy hot and cold snacks will be on sale at morning break every day.
Juniors have their morning break in the Junior Hall, with a menu slightly varied to that of the Seniors.
Main Servery for Junior and Senior Girls
Exciting and stylish menus on offer include two hot main course choices – one meat and one vegetarian or vegan. Soup and a range of cooked vegetables are on the menu every day. In addition, there is a jacket potato bar, pasta bar, extensive salad bar, fresh fruit and hot and cold desserts.
The salad bar is laid out at the centre of the Dining Room with a variety of colourful fresh salads, sliced fruit and bread freshly baked on site. Soup and a range of cooked vegetables are on the menu every day.
Speedy Service Bar for Senior Girls and Sixth Formers
For those busy with lunchtime sport or other extra-curricular activities, there is a Speedy Service Bar offering jacket potatoes or pasta; bowl salads; cut fruit; homemade soups; breads and yoghurts.
Sixth Form Bistro
The Sixth Form Bistro offers the same selection as the main servery and salad bar – eg a variety of filled breads, jacket potatoes, soup, pasta, fresh fruit, puddings and homemade bread and yogurts.
All food prepared at Withington Girls’ School is prepared in a kitchen where gluten and other allergens are present, and our menu descriptions do not include all ingredients.
