Manchester Sings
Our exciting musical partnership, Manchester Sings, first took place in December 2019 and following its postponement in 2020, took place once more on 24th November 2021. The inaugural event involved six maintained partner primary schools from across Greater Manchester and in 2021, this expanded to seven schools who performed alongside our Senior Choir and musicians.
The project brings together hundreds of children from across our region to celebrate music and recognise the power of community. The children come together after weeks of rehearsals at Manchester Cathedral – the event itself is the first time they all perform together.
The festival of song is a fundraiser for the Booth Centre and Wood Street Mission, both are charity partners who we have enjoyed long-standing relationships with.
