Sixth Form Resources
Resources specific to the Sixth Form include a large Common Room, a Bistro and various work and study areas. The Common Room has a comfortable seating area and plenty of tables for work and study. There are glass doors out to the school field and a patio with tables to work and socialise when the weather permits.
The Sixth Form Resource Area, which is located next to the Library, includes a bank of computers and workspace for Sixth Form use. Now that portable devices are used as learning tools across the curriculum, there is space to work with own portable devices and there are also secure charging lockers.
Also linked to the Library is a silent study area. This space was created in response to Student Council requests.
The Sixth Form Bistro is open for breakfast from 7.45am and lunch from 12.05. Students can get refreshments such as hot drinks throughout the day.
The Careers Room is also open all day. This is a bright, stimulating space designed for working together in groups, staging interviews and to be an exciting, collaborative environment where pupils can drop in to utilise digital careers resources.
