Our partnership, WithGambia, is 20 years old this year!

No, we can’t believe it, either!

To celebrate, students who are part of the Gambia Team for 2024 are organising a special celebration to be held at WGS on Tuesday 2^nd July at 7pm.

• Did you visit Pat’s Nursery or the Mama Tamba Nursery school ?
• Can you remember where you stayed when you visited The Gambia, bartering for local crafts in the market, or travelling by local canoe wearing your buoyancy aid?
• Did you travel by local canoe, minibus or on the famous Barra Ferry wearing your buoyancy aid?
• Can you remember singing, ‘I am on the rock..’?

If you did any of the above, or helped raise money through supporting many fundraising initiatives, we’d love you to join us to mark this milestone anniversary. Have fun catching up with long-standing friends, as well as those you may not have seen for years, and create some new WithGambia memories.

Tickets are £15.50 and include a celebratory drink, a 3-course Gambia inspired menu, as well as musical entertainment, a quiz and the chance to win an exciting hamper!
