At the beginning of October, author, Elly Griffiths, presented an Assembly to all the girls. Elly is already well known for her crime stories written for adults but has just written her first children’s book, A Girl Called Justice.

The girls were fascinated by her very engaging assembly presentation which, as well as telling them how she got into writing and her new book, also involved them planning their own crime story.

Each year group enjoyed creating their own crime stories following her visit, so we may well have some budding authors of the future in our midst.
