Six Economics students attended a business lunch and networking event at PricewaterhouseCoopers [PwC] Leeds as part of their prize in the national finals of a major business competition. The students, all from last year’s AS Economics groups, won highly commended and most innovative strategy awards for their work and expertise on business strategy.

The Leeds event enabled them to discuss career options with graduate trainees and recruiters at PwC and to learn more about careers in finance. The event was very useful in increasing their knowledge of the finance sector and experiencing the interpersonal skills needed for business meetings.
