Barnardo’s Penny Race

 Barnardo's Penny Race

The long awaited Barnardo's Penny Race  took place along the Chemistry corridor on Tuesday 27th April. The corridor was transformed by lines of coins along each wall; one side representing Williams house and the other side, Hunter. Many girls had been saving coins for weeks and even some Senior girls joined in the mission. This year Williams was the clear winner.

Upper II had the job of picking up all the coins and then counting them. Teamwork was vital and everyone worked hard counting and weighing just finishing in time for the school bell. Well done to all the Juniors who raised £310 for Barnardo's – a fantastic effort.
