Withington girls received high praise on the return flight from their halfterm ski trip to Serre Chevalier in the French Alps. All 28 members of the party were complimented by cabin crew for their ‘beautiful manners’ as they flew back – all unscathed – from Turin airport.

The girls, from the Third Form to the Upper Fifth, had enjoyed excellent snow conditions and bright blue skies all week with cold temperatures – the last day of minus 5°C was the ‘warmest’. Party leader Mrs Ferrol said: “We all had a sensational time.”
