A record 69 Lower Fifth girls have enrolled for the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme this year and 63 of them took part in their inaugural Bronze walk at Lyme Park in October. The next challenge – Marple to Hayfield – is scheduled for March 1st 2009.
