The WGS Trust

Withington Girls' School founders day event 2024 at The Bridgewater Hall
Managing your donations responsibly is important to us. The WGS Trust is a registered charity (number 505207), established in 1976, by the then Headmistress, Marjorie Hulme.

Since then, the Trust has actively managed donation income to support important projects at the school, including the Marjorie Hulme Bursary Fund.

The Trust currently invests over £900,000 per annum to provide outstanding educational opportunities for talented girls, irrespective of financial background. This allows us to fund a bursary for one in six senior school pupils. With your support, we are striving to increase provision to support one-in-five senior pupils.
