“The best thing is working with other amazing Sixth Formers and with teachers who are so dedicated in the way that they help us.”

Class of 2024
Our Sixth Form is perfectly formed: a small family feel but large enough to provide outstanding opportunities. We’ll treat you as the individual you are – and you’ll reciprocate through taking on new responsibilities, such as supporting younger girls or running societies.
Our academic results speak for themselves, but we also believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals with a sense of purpose – and fun.
I remember my own Sixth Form days were when I really became ‘me’. As a Sixth Form team we concentrate on really getting to know you so that we can support you as you develop as a person over your two years with us. That’s why pastoral care remains my passion – one shared by the entire Sixth Form team here: we respect every student and we’re keen for all of you to thrive in your own unique way.
At Withington, I’ve worked with so many inspiring girls.
The bonds you form here will last long beyond Sixth Form. For me, it’s always truly rewarding to hear former pupils sharing not only their positive experiences once they have left Withington, but also how their experiences here helped to shape them and prepare them for their future.
Today, our exceptional teaching, backed by continuous support from experienced and expert staff, ensures most of our students gain places on their preferred degree courses at their chosen universities.
Above all, you’ll leave us feeling confident and enthusiastic about your future.
