LAMDA Drama
LAMDA drama is taught to girls from Year 7 to Year 12 by a team of three peripatetic LAMDA teachers.
The course gives the girls the opportunity to increase their confidence, self-esteem and communication skills. Working in small groups the course covers storytelling, mime, improvisation and devising plays. Lessons are timetabled to take place between 8.20am and 3.40pm and will normally involve a rotation of times so that girls do not miss the same timetabled class more than once.
In February and June the girls sit a graded acting examination and parents get the chance to see a reprise of the girls’ exam presentations in a LAMDA showcase performance.
