Achievements
Music Examinations
Due to the thriving instrumental tuition at Withington, the school is used as a centre for ABRSM examinations twice a year.
Withington girls achieve an excellent success rate Associated Board Music Examinations with some of the results in the higher grades being outstanding. There are always some very promising results from the younger girls who take the earlier grades.

All 22 of our girls entered for the London College of Music voice exams received Distinctions.
Withington hosts special visit entries for pupils wishing to take their ABRSM Music Examinations in School. This affords our pupils the opportunity to perform in familiar surroundings and, where appropriate, be accompanied by a member of the Music Department teaching staff. There is always a large entry and much success is enjoyed.
Hallé Choir Participation
A number of girls are members of the Hallé Children’s Choir or Hallé Youth Training Choir and take part in many performances at the Bridgewater Hall. These girls have enjoyed many unforgettable experiences established and accomplished musicians.
