Our careers convention welcomed over 500 visitors and 34 exhibitors for an event full of inspiration and opportunity.
At the end of January, we were thrilled to host our annual Careers Convention, an event that brought together an exceptional mix of students, families, industry professionals, and members of our wider community. With over 500 visitors in attendance, the event proved to be our most vibrant and wide‑reaching convention yet.
The event welcomed pupils from 16 schools across the region, all eager to explore future pathways and gain insight into a diverse range of industries. Across the sports hall, 34 exhibitors representing sectors from law and healthcare to engineering, technology, the creative industries and beyond offered invaluable advice, resources and real‑world perspectives.
A programme of eight sector‑specific talks further enriched the evening. Delivered by professionals and industry leaders, these sessions gave students the chance to dive deeper into specialist areas, ask questions, and hear first-hand accounts of career journeys and emerging opportunities.
We extend our warmest thanks to all our exhibitors – from partner organisations and sector representatives to the alumnae who returned to share their experience, and the parents and friends of the school who generously represented their professions.
Events like this highlight what makes our school community so special. We are incredibly proud of the supportive, dynamic network that surrounds our students – one that works collaboratively to open doors, nurture ambition, and create meaningful opportunities both within school and beyond.
Whether students are exploring Sixth Form study options, considering university pathways, or preparing for future careers, our Careers Convention plays a vital role in helping them feel informed, inspired and confident about their next steps.
