Withington were the conference champions at this year’s ShrewsMUN.
A number of regional schools participated in the Model United Nations Conference held at Shrewsbury School over the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March.
Twelve pupils in two delegations – Denmark and Japan – attended the conference from WGS. Ten pupils won individual prizes and our Japan delegation earned the top spot, receiving the title of Best Delegation. Four students also received the highest accolade in their respective committees, marking our highest ever ‘Best Delegate’ haul.
A remarkable achievement by all involved.
