The U13s are into round four of the Plate, and both U13 and U15 sides continue in the Independent Schools Netball Cup, preparing for semi and quarter-finals this term. Our U12B team are unbeaten in the Manchester Schools League!

Lacrosse had a positive start, with the U18s making history by finishing in the top four at the Challenge Cup in November. All teams are now working towards England Lacrosse National Schools.

In hockey, the U18s won the Tier 3 County Tournament and finished second in the Northwest Tier 3 tournament by just one goal, with the U16s also claiming second place in their county tournament.

Football has had a busy and exciting season, with multiple teams competing in cups. The U13s reached the third round of the Manchester Schools Cup, and the U14s are still to play.

For cross country, Withington entered the prestigious English Schools Cross Country Cup for the first time! Both teams put in a stellar performance with some great individual performance. The Year 9/10 team ran strongly finishing an impressive 13th out of over 50 runners, while the Year 7/8 team qualified for regionals after finishing fifth out of 15 schools!

And in the Juniors, our netball teams remain unbeaten, and the U11 pop lacrosse team were crowned champions at the Manchester Schools Pop Lacrosse Competition. There’s been plenty of opportunities in cross country, hockey, football and rugby – all met with amazing enthusiasm!

A huge congratulations to all our teams and the PE Department!
