Ruth Bayley Competition 2024

‘Birds’ was the theme of this year’s Ruth Bayley Illustration Competition – an annual event run by the Art Department in memory of WGS alumna Ruth Bayley, a successful illustrator of many children’s books.

Open to all pupils in the Senior School, entries were shortlisted by Withington’s Art Department. Artist Kate Kelly was our guest judge. The results were shared during the Final Assembly of the Spring Term and we’re very pleased to share the winning entries below, alongside the runner-up and highly commended designs.
