As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, the Girls’ Schools Association (GSA) is honouring former WGS Headmistress, Miss Hulme, as their ‘Woman of the Week’.
Miss Hulme was, amongst her many other achievements, instrumental in the establishing of the WGS Trust, which now supports one in six of our pupils with a bursary. Miss Hulme died earlier this year at the age of 101 and we are delighted that GSA have recognised Miss Hulme with this honour.
