What a weekend! Our talented Year 12 students won both the Paul Dockery Mock Trial Competition and the Court Reporter Competition, judged by the Manchester Evening News, at the annual inter-school Mock Trial Competition – an incredible achievement!
Withington beat 11 other schools to take the titles and is now the most successful school in the 24-year history of this event.
For the first time ever, we entered two teams due to the high levels of enthusiasm. Team Ad triumphed in the final against Loreto College, while Team Lucem won all their trials and finished top of their league.
The victory is really down to the whole team, who have prepared and rehearsed together for weeks. Huge congratulations to everyone involved!
