Thirty students and six members of staff started their summer holidays with an amazing trip to Costa Rica.
In a packed eight days, they took part in many activities including a river cruise, surfing lessons, looking into the mouth of a volcano, relaxing in hot springs, and zip lining through the rainforest.
During the whistlestop tour of the Central American country, they saw a great variety of wildlife: sloths, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, armadillos and agoutis, to name a few. The group even saw turtles laying eggs on a Pacific beach late one night.
Certainly an enriching and memorable trip for everyone.
