Ever since the team’s book arrived in school at the start of term, it has been a busy but successful few months.
This week, Ayana Books was named Company of the Year at the Greater Manchester Showcase. They impressed the judges with their attention to detail, novel business idea and the quality of their product. They will compete in the North West Regional Final next term.
This follows their previous success at the Trafford Centre Trade Fair in February where they were presented with the Judges Award.
Throughout the process, the team have become experts in graphic design, publishing and marketing. They’ve had their book professionally published, set up their own website and used a range of social media platforms to publicise their book. They have been a huge credit to themselves and to Withington.
