An early morning train from Manchester Piccadilly awaited our GCSE and A Level Art students who embarked on a busy but rewarding day in the capital.
The group visited both the Tate Britain and Tate Modern, perusing the permanent artworks and special exhibitions including the Turner Prize 2024. The galleries proved to be a treasure trove of inspiration as students and staff alike had eyes wide with wonder and sketchbooks in hand.
They travelled in style along the Thames by taxi boat, which was a perfect way to see the city’s iconic architecture.
