At the start of the school year, our Year 8 and Year 9 pupils take part in activity days focused on developing teambuilding and communication skills.
Year 8 enjoyed a delightfully sunny day on the school field where they worked through a carousel of activities in small groups. Whilst Year 9 had an introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This involved honing the required skills for the scheme’s expeditions: putting up tents, cooking with Trangias, and orienteering, which they did off-site.
