Geography
Rivers, cities, volcanoes, mountains, global warming and coastlines are just some of the many areas of Geography covered in the Junior School. The girls are encouraged to be amazed, excited and curious about the world in which they live. They explore the relationship between the earth and its people using a variety of methods including role plays, experiments, ICT, photographic evidence and maps.
Fieldwork is an important part of the curriculum and all the Junior School girls engage in local field studies. We aim to build on the girls’ own ‘personal geography’ and make the subject relevant and enjoyable.
