All these classes take place in the specialist and well-equipped Senior School D&T suite. The girls investigate problems, explore design solutions and gain competence in using tools safely. Learning to choose appropriate materials and colours stretches their creative ability and develops practical skills. Completed work is displayed with great pleasure and pride.

For some of the girls this will be their first real experience of a practical subject of this nature and some time is spent in encouraging them to undertake practical tasks and use equipment safely and with confidence.
