Alumnae Publications

Withington Onwards Magazine

The Withington Onwards Alumnae Association keeps all WGS Old Girls up-to-date with the latest Alumnae news and School developments through a series of free publications. From our quarterly eNewsletter to the annual Alumnae magazine, there are a number of ways you can choose to keep informed, and you can subscribe to as many or as few as you like.

Withington Onwards, our annual magazine, is published every December and is our largest Alumnae publication. Packed full of interesting interviews with Old Girls, news from the WGS Archive, Alumnae event reviews, recent graduations and news of former pupils, the magazine is a signupnow buttongreat way to keep up with what the Withington Alumnae Community are up to.

If you are not receiving your copy, it might be that we don’t have the correct mailing address for you. So, if you would like to receive Withington Onwards in the future, please keep us informed of any change in contact details and we will ensure your copy reaches you. Many of our Old Girls prefer the magazine to be posted to their family address, which is fine, but if there are more than one or two recipients at the same address we will post just one copy- unless specifically asked not to do so. We’re happy to post out as many copies of the magazine as you need, but please send the Development Office a request if you wish to receive individual copies at your family address.

We are always aiming to improve Withington Onwards, to make the content better and more appealing to our readers, so we really value your feedback and ideas about the magazine. Please feel free to email the Development Team, or fill in this short online survey, if you’d like to make any suggestions about future editions.

The Withington Onwards eNewsletter and the School Bulletin

The Development Team also produce a quarterly eNewsletter, which we email each term to our subscribers. The eNewsletter includes snapshots of news relating to Alumnae events, reunions and developments from throughout the term. For many of our Alumnae, reading news via email is usually an easier option than receiving hard copies of publications, so please contact us if you are not currently a subscriber to our email list but would like to be signed up. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date email address.

The eNewsletter also links to a downloadable copy of the School Bulletin, which contains news and photos from throughout the School term. Within The Bulletin there are pages devoted to Alumnae, and anyone featured will automatically be sent a hard copy of that edition with our compliments. You’re more than welcome to request a hard copy of The Bulletin, though, if you don’t want to receive it electronically.

Please help us to reduce costly mailings and keep our database up to date by ensuring we have your most recent contact details. You can do this by updating your details through our online Alumnae community, or by emailing a member of the Development Team. Don’t forget to let us know your publication preferences too!
