Working in partnership for your daughter’s future

All Withington parents are automatically members of the WGS PTA whose committee work very hard to organise events which aim to provide the opportunity for parents to socialise and also to raise funds for the School.

The Withington PTA – Welcome from the Chair

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Withington PTA section of the school website.  This section aims to keep you up-to-date with PTA fundraising activities and social events.

The main aim of the PTA is to provide a variety of enjoyable events that bring together parents, staff & children. These events can help to raise funds for some additional services to enhance our daughters’ experiences whilst at school.

We hold an Annual Ball, which is a wonderful evening of fun & entertainment for parents & staff.

A Junior School Family Fun Night is held during the autumn term to welcome new girls & their parents. The event is always very popular and well supported by all Junior School families.

The Spring Fair is traditionally held the Saturday before Mothering Sunday and involves the whole school. The girls particularly enjoy participating by organising and running a variety of stalls.

The 300 Club is a small society lottery that was launched in 1995. All Withington parents are able to join the 300 Club & have the opportunity to win cash prizes. The 300 Club has raised over £1000 each year for the benefit of the School. Please refer to the relevant section to see how you can join.

The WGS Sustainable Uniform Store is our pre-owned uniform service which offers an extensive range of high quality, pre-owned uniform at no more than 25% of the original purchase price.

You can support the PTA by attending our events, volunteering, donating raffle prizes or sharing a new fundraising idea.  We are all aiming to ensure our daughters enjoy the best experiences and all help is most gratefully welcomed.
