Winmarleigh Hall 2008

Junior pupils report on their trip to Winmarliegh Hall on the weekend of the 1st – 2nd March:

Our eyes feasted on the ornate building, but we also took in the rustic smell of the countryside. We had arrived at Winmarleigh Hall.

The team challenge and the archery tested our minds, as we had to think about teamwork and accuracy. The ‘nightline' was frightening and pulse-racing, but we learnt to trust our friends even more as we warned one another about the obstacles in the dark wood. To cap it all, on Friday evening, gently falling snow covered the grounds.

We learnt to use advanced computer software and marvelled at each others' animation movies and music videos.

Climbing the pole in the ‘All Aboard' was the most adrenalin pumping experience we had ever done.

We sped down the zip wire feeling very envious of the birds. We were provided with even more entertainment by a disco and a scrumptious birthday cake for a girl in our class!

The instructors were welcoming and friendly and we didn't want to leave. We shall certainly never forget our trip to Winmarleigh Hall!
