Young Enterprise Success

On Wednesday, 13th March, our Young Enterprise companies FakeID and Warrior represented our school at the Manchester North-South and Salford Finals held at the HSBC Bank in Spinningfields. They were judged on their Company Report, Team interview, Presentation and Digital Presence such as their use of Social Media, their online trading and website.

Both companies wrote a detailed company report, presented their companies in front of the audience with confidence and had an attractive and informative display stand.

Judges were impressed by the standard of the six participating companies and I am delighted that they presented our company Warrior with the Best Company Award. Warrior will now be competing in the Greater Manchester County Final on the 28th of March at University Campus Oldham with the winning teams across Bolton, Bury, Rochdale & Oldham, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside and Wigan. They will be judged on their Company Report, Team Interview, Presentation, Digital Presence, Customer Service, Teamwork and Sustainability.

Even though FakeID did not receive a prize, I would like to congratulate them all on their excellent team work in the past couple of months. They have had some challenging times, but all members worked well together to overcome their difficulties and do the school proud at the Final.

Both companies will continue to trade in the summer term; so if you have not yet bought your Warrior bracelet or FakeID T-shirt, it is not too late!

Well done to both teams and good luck to Warrior for the County Final on the 28th of March!
