Our own Withington event to raise funds for The Christie took place on Sunday 23rd September and, at the time of going to press, the total raised was a magnificent £4432.04.

A fantastic turnout of families, Old Girls, current girls, teaching and support staff – most sporting outrageous wigs – ran 5k along the Fallowfield Loop each having raised donations via sponsorship and entry fees.

The race was followed by ‘Canine Capers’ on the field. With Mrs Clucas and Mrs Burrows in charge. Numerous extremely well-behaved dogs took part in agility, obedience and best-dressed competitions.
