This year, our Upper Sixth artists very aptly entitled our Annual Art Exhibition Motion, as they felt this word encapsulated their current stage of life. They are not standing still but in a transient period in their lives where they are shifting from one stage in their education and life into another.

We were very pleased to present the exhibition for the first time in the Hub. The work looked outstanding in the superb light and the vast space was perfect to showcase the breathtaking artwork of our Upper Fifth and Upper Sixth girls. The work ranged from exquisite wallpaper inspired by William Morris and huge abstract seascape paintings, to creative textile installations using old armchairs and architectural studies on rusted sheet metal and so much more besides.
