The Junior Music Festival also took the guise of a House Competition, in which all Junior musicians put in some superb performances. There was some outstanding singing, really impressive memory skills, excellent sense of musical discipline and good support among all taking part. There were some really confident performances with even those who began shyly growing in confidence as their performance progressed. Above all, there were some really musical performances which, said Mrs Sargent, ‘bodes well for the Senior School in the future’. It was a close finish with Hunter earning 46 points and Williams 40.
