Juniors and Seniors get together for Easter fun
Junior girls enjoyed two lunchtime activities this week based around the theme of Easter. Organised by Senior School pupils, the girls were invited to participate in an Easter egg decorating competition in the Senior Art Room. They went wild with tissue, paper, sequins and beads to create imaginative egg designs, before naming their egg. There were chocolate prizes for the best design in each year group and a prize for the most inventive name.
The following day, the girls were able to take part in the most ‘eggciting’ scavenger hunt of (what seemed like) all time. Clues were placed around the Junior School and the teams of mixed ages used problem solving and communication skills to complete the hunt in the quickest time! When finished, all participants received a chocolate goody bag and a certificate signed by the Easter Bunny himself. After combining totals from the two events, the girls raised an impressive £200 for cystic fibrosis! A great success! Happy Easter everyone!
