Friday 19th February, 2016, 8pm

The girls of Upper II have now returned from their trip to Winmarleigh Hall! Both girls and staff had a fabulous time and will be talking about their adventures for a long time to come. Behaviour was impeccable and spirits were high for the duration of the trip. Everyone is now rather weary and ready for a (hopefully) restful weekend.

We can only apologise for the muddy loads which parents will be presented with on the girls’ return home! However, it was well worth it. Thank you to the girls for making this year’s residential so memorable and fun!

Thursday 18th February, 8pm

A busy and fun filled afternoon where the girls took to the quad bike track and conquered the dizzy heights of All Aboard! Even Mrs Roberts and Miss Dillon managed to persuade each other up there! After a yummy dinner, the girls are now showcasing their best dance moves at the disco.

An update from this morning and a few more pictures from yesterday:

The girls have tucked into a hearty lunch and are now ready to hit the shop! We are looking forward to an afternoon of quad biking , low ropes and more muddy antics!

Wednesday 17th February 2016, 8pm

It is an annual tradition that Upper II girls have a residential trip away in February of each year. After all the hard work of the Senior School Entrance Examinations, they are all enjoying a great adventure holiday at Winmarleigh Hall in Lancashire.

Here is today’s report :

The girls of Upper II have enjoyed a wonderful start to their residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall. The girls settled into their rooms quickly before heading off for the first activities of the day.

Groups enjoyed abseiling, zip wiring,  coding activities and lots of fun in the mud!

After dinner, the girls took to the woods to participate in an exciting game of Ambush; a dark, muddy and more enthralling version of hide and seek!

The girls are now suitably exhausted and ready for a good night’s sleep!
