Upper 6th Leavers’ Reception
Class of 2014 Upper Leavers’ Reception
16th September 2014
The Class of 2014 visited the School to say their final farewell. It’s become a traditional annual event for teachers and pupils to talk about their final plans before they embark on their gap year, university or work activity.
Mrs Sue Marks, Headmistress, led a toast to all, raising a glass of bubbly she says, “I am incredibly proud of your achievements, and on behalf of the staff and governors, we wish you every success in your chosen path.” Mrs Marks talked enthusiastically about the construction of the new building and invited them all back next year for the 125th Anniversary Celebrations.
The new Development Director, Toni Leden, took an opportunity to talk to the newest alumnae cohort about being part of the Withington Girls’ Alumnae community. The Alumnae Association is here to offer career support, university and networking support for all our girls.
The Leavers’ Reception is the first step for the Class of 2014 into a wider alumnae network and we are looking forward to keeping in touch with you over the coming months and years.
On behalf of the Development Office, all that remains is to wish you every success and happiness.
Keep in touch, girls! Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in it couldn’t be easier.
