Visit to Manchester Cathedral

On the 26th February, Form I went to visit the Manchester Cathedral as part of our Religious Studies. We were fascinated by the artefacts, statues and symbols that we saw and were intrigued by some of the history that accompanied these. For example, each of the beautiful stained glass windows had a story attached to it.

We were interested by the architecture of the Cathedral and how the roof of the Nave looked like a ship. We had a tour of the Cathedral followed by a practical craft activity session where we were able to make a brasss rubbing and a stained glass window.
