On the 3rd to 5th July, Two Lower Fifth girls were given the opportunity to attend the Salters Chemistry Camp at Nottingham University. They got the chance to work in the university labs using advanced equipment and chemicals that would not normally be used at school.

 They attended several lectures throughout their stay, including a Flash Bang Show which included recreating real thunder and lightning. The girls said they enjoyed meeting other students our age who shared their interest in Chemistry and having the chance to explore the university campus and get a real idea of university life.
