Four ‘mad’ members of staff are participating in the Team Relay event of the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 28th April.

Under the team name 'Withy Wonders', Ms Jane Maher, Mr Andrew Parry, Dr Cristina Vilela and Mr Ben Langlois plan to run the 26 miles between them to raise money for the School’s Enhancing Opportunities Annual Fund  and The Christie Hospital. A Just Giving page has been set up for anyone who would like to support them.

All parents, pupils and friends are encouraged to turn out to cheer them on. They should be easy to spot in electric pink T-shirts!

The race will start at the Trafford Arch on the A56 at the White City
roundabout near Old Trafford. The finish will be on Sir Matt Busby Way
outside Old Trafford.

Andy Parry starts off from Old Trafford at 9.15 am (main runners
go at 9).

Cristina Vilela takes over at SALE FC, A56/CROSSFORD BRIDGE,
SALE  at approximately 10.15 am

Jane Maher takes over at TIMPERLEY SPORTS CLUB, STOCKPORT ROAD at
about 11 am

Ben Langlois does the final leg from MANOR HOUSE PUBLIC HOUSE, SALE
WEST from approximately 12 noon.

They hope to finish 1pm at Old Trafford.
