The AS Drama examination, performed in the Drama Studio on Tuesday 12th March, was Skirmishes written by Liverpudlian scriptwriter Catherine Hayes, who has Coronation Street and Brookside among her credits.

The three-hander involved the clash of two sisters at their mother's bedside. For one, every day of her mother's illness adds to the waste of her own life, while the other sees the old house as the trap she has tried to escape. With often grim humour they wrestle with their burden of responsibility.
