After the success of last year’s Withington Week, we are once again holding a week in May dedicated to events and fundraising for the Enhancing Opportunities Annual Fund. We now call upon alumnae, previous parents and former staff to once again flex your creativity by organising your own fundraising events across the country.  This year we hopeeven more people will get involved with this nationwide event. The Enhancing Opportunities Annual Fund was established in 2012with the intention of raising money for key projects.  These projects are chosen to significantlyenhance the learning opportunities which Withington provides.  Last year, thanks to the generosity of ouralumnae community as well as current parents, we met our fundraising target of£50,000.  The school now boasts anindustrial laser-cutter which is used across a range of departments, afull-sized classical pedal harp and the English department have secured places ona prestigious residential writing course for 16 budding writers among ourpupils.  The next Annual Fund projects will be selected shortly.
