Junior Weekend at Abernant Lake
Have you ever wanted to go on an action-packed adventure holiday with so many activities, your mind is blown? Well, Upper II and Lower II have had that experience at Abernant Lake Hotel from June 15th to 17th.
We arrived at 2.45pm and everyone was plunged into Mini Olympics. ‘Wang the welly’ was popular and spirits soon drifted from tired to competitive and lively!
After a delicious dinner of lasagne, Upper II planned their raft building techniques for the next morning, before snuggling down with a hot chocolate and going to bed.
On Saturday, Upper II was ready for a cold start to the day, with raft building! After yet another action packed day of fun, muddy wet, wet activities they settled down for a mock camp in the games room.
On Sunday, everyone was ready to leave, but a couple more activities awaited. Upper II had crate stacking, rifles and survival, and Lower II did other exciting activities. We left with beaming grins, and even the weather didn’t stop our enjoyment!
