At lunchtime on June 12th the Junior Resource Room resembled a busy market! This was the culmination of weeks of hard work by Upper II girls who had set up their own businesses from scratch.

Working in groups, each girl was required to write a letter of application for the post they would like most in their mini company. Once all the chief executives, marketing managers sales managers and finance managers were appointed the girls got to work deciding in their teams a name for their company and what products they would make and sell.

They then sold shares and used the money raised to buy materials to make their products. After hours of industry, a whole range of exciting items were ready to sell.

The money raised will go to a good cause yet to be decided. In their evaluations at the end of process the girls all thought that they had learned valuable lessons about working in a team and had enjoyed the creative process making, advertising and selling their products.
