On Wednesday 28th March, we went to Manchester Metropolitan University for the annual Chem Quiz. This involved participating in three sections, competing against 42 other schools!

In Section One we did a very challenging quiz of written questions. In Section Two (the multimedia section), we had to answer questions on experiments being demonstrated in front of us and do a Chemistry comprehension exercise. This was the hardest section, and we won!

Finally, we completed a practical in which we investigated the
concentration of emulsifiers. The whole event was incredibly enjoyable
and we finished in 9th place overall.
