A day at Lyme Hall
Upper II and Lower II spent the day at Lyme Hall on 29th February, being transported back in time. Upper II spent the morning ‘below stairs’ learning about the tasks of the butler in such a grand house and an afternoon with the Governess.
Lower II met a Tudor Lady and were dressed-up as servants while learning about the finer clothes of the upper classes. In the afternoon, they were taken to the kitchen to learn about herbs and spices, how to make their own Tudor perfume and to write with quill and ink.
