1980s Decade Reunion – 12th May 2012

Withington Alumnae who left School during the 1980s are warmly invited to a special reunion being held at School on Saturday 12th May 2012 to celebrate the decade that brought us Duran Duran, The Breakfast Club and the Rubik's Cube. 

Special celebrations will take place during the day for leavers from the Classes of 1982 and 1987 who are this year celebrating their 30th and 25th Anniversaries respectively.  The reunion promises to be a happy and nostalgic trip down memory lane, offering Alumnae the chance to catch up with old friends whilst seeing the many changes here at School, and the programme for the day will be as follows:

 

10.30amMorning Coffee in the Marjorie Hulme Arts Centre, with the opportunity to look at 1980's memorabilia from the School Archives
11.00amWelcome from the Development Director, Clare Flynn
11.15 – 12.30pmAn opportunity for Class Leavers to catch up with friends and classmates, including special 30th and 25th Anniversary celebrations for the classes of 1982 and 1987
12.30pmBuffet Luncheon, served in the School Dining Room, 1980s Quiz
2.15pmTours of School
3.15-4pmAfternoon Coffee
