For the third year running, the Junior School took part in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch, organised by the RSPB. We made bird feeders which we hung on trees at the end of the field. On Friday 27th January, blessed with good weather and armed with binoculars, charts and biscuits, we watched for an hour with rotating groups. We saw a pleasing variety of birds, such as a robin, sparrows and even long-tailed tits. The UII girls then used our data to produce graphs and pie chart.
