Enhancing Opportunities at Withington

This year, Withington will launch its first ever Annual Fund, which aims to raise £50,000 over 12 months for new projects designed to significantly enhance the learning experience and opportunities of all girls in School.

Selected projects include a residential creative writing course, guided by some of the UK's most gifted published writers; a classical pedal harp to bring Withington's harp department up to a standard rivalling those in specialist music schools and a state-of-the-art laser cutting machine, an industry standard piece of equipment which will offer the girls an exceptional opportunity to interact successfully with materials and resources and learn crucial skills used in industry. It is hoped that all projects will be completed by January 2013.

A week of Alumnae-led activities the country is planned for 14th – 21st May 2012 by the Withington Onwards Alumnae Association to support the Annual Fund, and we do hope that you will be join fellow Alumnae at one of these events, which are being held around the country. More details of these events will be published on the website shortly.
