Expanding Extra-curricular Programme
The ever-expanding Junior School extra-curricular programme for 2010 is now well underway. A variety of sporting opportunities include hockey, lacrosse, netball, gymnastics, fencing, yoga, trampolining and, new for this year, ‘shake up and wake up’ fun fitness before school on Thursdays.
In music there are clarinet, percussion and string groups, orchestra and choir. New this year is the opportunity for every girl in Transition to learn how to play the ukulele in music lessons.
We are fortunate to have Senior girls who run Dance Club and Little Critters. Miss Maddern is sharing her passion for mosaics in Creative Club. As always, Pets Club is very popular and the library and computer suite are well used.
High priority is also given to ensure that the girls have time just to play outside with their friends during breaks and to make full use of the Junior Playground.
