A-level Results – Top Rankings Again!

A–level league tables published in the national press place Withington as the highest ranking secondary school in the north of England. The various newspapers base their tables on slightly different criteria, hence each paper publishes marginally different rankings.

 The Financial Times (11th September 2010 edition) noted that Withington is the only school in the north of England in the top 20 and one of the best value independent schools in the country too.

These results and rankings are consistent with those secured by Withington girls since national league tables were introduced and we are all extremely proud of this year's candidates – and their teachers.
